Brief Description: A unique race with a unique cause.  Shoes on Students (SOS).   Fleet Feet Sports commitment to purchase new training shoes for high school athletes.  Join us to benefit the track and field and cross country progams in Western New York High Schools and help a youn student athlete achieve their running dreams.

Cash Awards: With the generous support from our sponsors, we will award cash prizes in the amount of: 1st overall male and female $750; 2nd overall male and female $350; 3rd overall male and female $150.

 

Age Group Awards:

1st place finishers in each of the following age groups receive a $50.00 gift card to Fleet Feet Sports along with a commemorative award: 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the following age groups will receive $25.00 gift card to Fleet Feet along with a commerative award : 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

USA Niagara Association 15K Championship Awards

 

Open: 1st overall male & female $250 each; 2nd overall male & female $125 each; 3rd overall male & female $50 each.

Time performance bonus of $200 for open men under 46:45 & open women under 52:30.

Masters: 1st overall male & female $100 each.  $200 Masters bonus for age graded performance over 89%

USA Niagara Association Commemorative medals 1st through 3rd place in each 5 year age group.

New in 2010 !  USA Masters 15K Team Competition in Men's and Women's divisions 40+ through 70+. 

Team scoring rules - Womens 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ - maximum of 5 runners, score 3 runners.  Mens 40+, 50+ - maximum of 8 runners, score 5 runners; Mens 60+ and 70+ - maximum of 5 runners, score 3 runners.

All individuals and team entering the USA Masters Championship must enter on-line at www.usatf.org.

The Course-Start on Erie Blvd-go west into Erie Basin Marina.  Complete one loop of the Marina and exit going east on Erie Blvd.  Bear right on Marine Dr. Go left on Pearl St.  Bear left on Franklin St to Niagara St-go left to Niagara Square-Right on Delaware all the way to Forest Ave.

Left on Forest to Lincoln Parkway-left on Lincoln around Soldiers Circle-right on Chapin Pkwy.-to Gates Circle-right on Delaware to Niagara Square-bear right on Niagara to Franklin-right on Franklin to Pearl-right on Pearl to the finish

  
Course Time Limit: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Post Race Party: At Canal Side, great views of the waterfront and downtown.  Good food - new this year, catered by Fat Bob's Smokehouse, good drink, awards ceremony and music too.  Awards ceremony will begin after the course time limit expires - @ 11am. 

Packet Pick-up: At Fleet Feet Sports-2290 Delaware Ave, Buffalo 14216.  On 9/3 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM; 9/4 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 9/5 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Race Day Registration: At Canal Side-Central Warf 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM.
